Algerian filmmaker Yasmine Chouikh joins the Pop Up Film Residency family

The year might be in its final days, but that cannot stop us. Especially if it means bringing you another piece of good news.

We are so so happy to announce that the Algerian filmmaker Yasmine Chouikh will be developing her next feature film with Pop Up Film Residency.  Only God tells a story of Najla, a celibate 40-year-old religious woman dreaming about marriage.

The project was selected in partnership and with the support of the French Institute Cinema Department program Pôle cinéma du monde.
