Munich Film Up! is a pioneering 9-month mentoring and residential program designed to embrace recent film school graduates embarking on their inaugural feature film projects. Proudly presented by HFF München, Munich Film Up! collaborates with Pop Up Film Residency as its exclusive content partner. The program also joins forces with Film School Fest Munich and Filmfest München, cementing its commitment to fostering emerging talent in the global film industry.
Every year, six participants from diverse corners of the world engage in the Lab, a transformative experience comprising two workshops hosted in Munich. The first workshop aligns with the Film School Fest Munich in November, followed by the second during the Filmfest München in June. During the latter, participants showcase their projects to key figures in the film industry. In the interim, each aspiring filmmaker enjoys a personalized Pop Up Film Residency in one of the network’s residences.
