Breaking News: the ’Wild Card’ residency program
This summer we decided to exceptionally offer a residency to a talent, who recently completed a film that strongly caught our attention. The ‘Wild Card’ program enables a filmmaker we believe in to start writing her/his new film project at the Pop Up Film Residency.
Less than a year ago, her debut « Summer Survivors » made a splash at the Toronto Film Festival. This road-movie across Lithuania moved audiences due to its unique tone to portray mental illness – light-hearted, humorous and ultimately radiant.
We are therefore very happy to welcome Marija Kavtaradże in Bratislava, where she will be working on « Slow » – her new film at early stage of development (to be produced by Marija Razgute).
