The Lago Residency

Suspended between water and mountains, Lago is an uncorrupted temple of research cinema where you can seek inspiration for your next film.

The residence is hosted by the team of Lago Film Residency,  a project of Piattaforma Lago and Lago Film Fest, who will provide the resident with 3 weeks of free accommodation in Revine Lago (Italy), a studio to live and work in, and meetings and exchanges with professionals and experts.

The location in the town of Revine Lago is perfect for having space and time to devote to autonomous and focused work, in an extraordinary natural and scenic environment. Taking advantage of the dreamlike location between the lakes and mountains, in a decentralized location within the UNESCO area Le Colline del Prosecco di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene, the resident will have the opportunity to work quietly and autonomously, supported by ad hoc consultants and mentors, on the new film project he or she has conceived in a setting that attracts film professionals from all over the world every year.

With a calendar full of events, artistic residencies, festivals, and educational projects, Revine Lago 2024 European Capital of Independent Film is set to be a beacon of innovation and cinematic diversity. Revine Lago, with its picturesque landscape and welcoming community, is thus transformed into a European crossroads of independent cinema, an experience that goes beyond the screen and reaches the hearts of everyone who participates.

An unparalleled cinematic adventure, a seminal chapter in the history of European independent cinema that will be celebrated, discussed, and remembered for a long time to come.
