Written and directed by Abinash Bikram Shah, Elephants in the Fog won the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize at the 79th Cannes Film Festival 2026, becoming the first film from Nepal to receive a major award at the festival.
This debut feature by Abinash took part in the Pop Up Film Residency in Bratislava in spring 2022. Abinash was joined at the residency by his producer Anup Poudel as well.
