Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund announced the support of 24 feature film projects, including 3 documentaries and 3 animation films, with 45.83% of the projects directed by women.
The list includes two projects written and directed by women previously participating in the Pop Up Film Residency.
While Piggy by Carlota Pereda was part of the Pop Up Film Residency Bratislava at the end of 2019, Ordinary Failures by Cristina Grosan (co-written by Klára Vlasáková) received its consultation in March 2020, with the residency taking place in France in August 2020.
Moreover, in January this year, Ordinary Failures received the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, Italy, co-production support, and earlier in March, the Spanish public RTVE announced Piggy as one of the 22 projects selected for co-production in 2021.
Congratulations!
